Ex. 3:9-10 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

Heb. 1:1-3 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

This is another song based on the book of Exodus and like the others it speaks of deliverance. Pharaoh held the Israelites as slaves in Egypt just as Satan holds God's people slave to sin today. Jesus, like Moses, was sent as a deliverer, sent to free the children of God from those who kept them bound. Those words of freedom, spoken by God to and through Moses and Jesus in the past, are still spoken to us today. Like Jesus and Moses before us, God has, in Christ, commissioned us to go, share the gospel and set the captives free.
